Introducing “The Career Guidance and Placement Cell”
At Sri Guru Angad Dev College, Khadur Sahib, we are delighted to announce the launch of our Career Guidance and Placement Cell, a dedicated initiative empowering students to achieve their professional aspirations. This cell is established with a dual purpose: to equip students with essential career skills and to facilitate meaningful placements for deserving candidates.
Vision and Objectives
The Career Guidance and Placement Cell seeks to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations. We aim to provide a platform for students to explore career opportunities, build essential employability skills and connect with leading organizations.
Our objectives include:
• Enhancing Employability Skills: Through workshops and training sessions on resume writing, interview techniques, communication skills and professional etiquette.
• Career Counselling: Offering personalized guidance to help students identify and pursue career paths that align with their interests and abilities.
• Industry Engagement: Inviting HR representatives and industry experts to share insights and provide recruitment opportunities.
• Student Placement: Facilitating internships and job placements for meritorious students with Govt as well as private organizations.

• Resume Writing Workshops: Assisting students in creating professional and impactful resumes.
• Mock Interviews: Preparing students to confidently navigate real interview scenarios.
